Jackpot Triples 26th July

Eighteen players from Swanpool and Benalla enjoyed two games of twelve ends  on Monday 26^th.   Merv Sellars (s), John Stevens and Thirza Irvine won the day with two wins and twenty shots up.   In their first game Merv’s team played Barry Robertson (s), Len Griffith and Brenda Sutherland.   Merv’s team started strongly and by the sixth end they were in the lead 9-3.   Both teams scored on  three ends each but Merv’s team won the game 18-8.   In the second game they played Brendan Rettke (s), Marianne Nichols and Joan Hooper.   Half way through the game Merv’s team had a commanding lead 13-0.   Brendan’s team scored on the seventh and tenth ends but Merv’s team won the match 23-3.
